"The collection is hugely inspired by the series of photography by Evelyn Pritt entitled "Ocean Waves".
The print for the collection is taken from one of the series, as it is reminds me how raw and pure ocean is. Hence, the word "war" came around, giving the collection a darker feeling, something I always wanted for Mixte line.
We always try to bring something new for every collection that we done in Nikicio. We've done digital prints since our spring collection last year and this time we took it a notch by doing it on leather. We also chose finer fabrics, such as cashmere for jackets, and cotton silk for dresses, as we want Mixte to be our premium line
I always pictured Nikicio girls as the ones who will braved the war at the front line and these are the clothes they will be seen wearing"
